Mother’s Ministry

The Mother’s Ministry loves, cares and assist people in the congregation in a manner that aligns with scripture (Titus 2:1 – 5) and the vision and mission of the church. The Mothers set the example for Christian living, especially the younger women. The Mothers are also acknowledged for their Christian leadership and teaching.

A spiritually mature woman (at least 65 years of age) who exhibits an understanding of her faith and is able to communicate her biblical knowledge to others. She is eligible to become a member of the Mother’s Ministry with approval of the Pastor. The Pastor will present her to the church with a special prayer.

The Mother’s Ministry Annual Day is recognized on Mother’s Day.

Mother’s will have two meetings a year when possible.  The Mother’s helper is Sis. Georgia Brooks.  Monetary gifts will be decided per the occasion (hospital stays, deaths – immediate family, graduations and Pastor’s Anniversary)

The attire will be as follows:

  • Funerals – White dresses/red scarves or white suits with red blouses and Mothers badge.
  • All other occasions to be determined.
