Pastor U. D. Williams

Pastor U.D. Williams is a native of Springfield, IL. He felt the call of God on his life in his early teens, and officially began his preaching ministry at Union Baptist Church, Springfield, IL under the late Dr. Rudolph S. Shoultz. He is an alumnus of Lane College, Jackson, TN where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration; and he is an alumnus of Campbell University Divinity School, Buies Creek, N.C. where he earned his Master of Divinity Degree. In September 2017, Pastor Williams was called by God, and elected by the membership of Union Missionary Baptist Church of Bloomington, IL, to serve as Pastor. There, he proudly serves and seeks to lead this growing and incredibly loving church into being a Bible-based, Christ- centered, Ministry- focused church that is fueled by vision and driven by purpose. It is his desire to exhaust himself for the kingdom of God, while using every ounce of God’s anointing to transform lives, make disciples, impact the community, and lead the lost into the loving arms of Jesus Christ.

On May 7, 2022, Pastor Williams received his Doctor of Ministry with a Specialization in Spiritual Formation from Lincoln Christian University, Lincoln, IL.
