Young people are an important part of the community here at Union Missionary Baptist Church. Because they are a “heritage of the Lord” and a “reward” from Him (Psalm 127:3), young people are to be treasured. Just as Jesus placed a significant value on young people, we desire to impact the lives of this special age group. For ages 0-18, we encourage them to trust Jesus as their Savior and grow in their faith.

During every week and one Sunday a month after morning worship service, our young people experience Bible stories, are given memory verses, and learn about their Creator God. The young people also participate in special events and community outreach projects throughout the year.

The aim of this ministry is to encourage young people to develop a continuous relationship with God through Jesus Christ and apply the teachings of the Bible to their daily lives while fellowshipping with other young Christians.
